Alright so this post is totally random. I don't know how many people will relate to it, but I honestly know too many people that actually fit a profile of a situation shopper.
Okay so first lets go over some of the characteristics.. OR "symptoms" of being a situation shopper.
1. You never end up liking anything you buy after wearing it a few times or maybe right after purchasing it.
2. Everything/Anything you buy is what you WANT and not what you NEED.
3. Regardless of having something to wear for a certain event, you decide to go buy something for it, & never end up wearing that to the event.
OR
You wear that to the event & then never wanna touch it again.
4. While shopping, using the excuse "I might need it" or "It might go with something".
5. Purchasing things just because you have nothing better to spend it on (There's no such thing as saving in your world!)
If you thing you fit into even just 2 of these 5 symptoms, guess what my friend YOU'RE A SITUATION SHOPPER!
Sorry for the caps haha, I had to make it sound dramatic.
Just for the info the term "situation shopper" was indeed made by my lovely, sweet, awesome manager to describe some of us that worked under her. As I do work at a retail, being classified under this term was very common. And i'm glad to say I've overcome this ..or I think I have.
Anyways! not worrying about me right now, I wanted to share just a few experiences I've had myself and some that happened to a few people I know (not naming any names) which ended up giving us the title of a being a situation shopper!
Since I don't want to name any names, so in all the events I share with you the main character (the situation shopper) will be named Alina!
1. I remember once my co worker told me about the one day she had off, she decided to go out and spend some time out with her bf. And as they're out, trying to figure out where to go, they end up going to the beach. Now that Alina was at the beach, she realized the clothes she was wearing weren't really "beach appropriate". So instead of going home like a normal person, Alina decides to go to a store and just buy a new dress she can change into!
*If you guys think that was the right thing to do, you're a situation shopper*
2. One day Alina shows for work wearing work appropriate clothes & let me add, looking very pretty. 10 minutes in, she decides that she doesn't like what she showed up for work in, & buys a whole new outfit to wear that same day.
*If you think that was the right thing to do, you're a situation shopper*
3. This one time, I saw this gorgeous white blazer at work, (I'm a sucker for blazers) & decided to buy it just because. While purchasing it, my manager asked me why i'm getting it. I replied saying that I NEEDED a white blazer (when I had 3 different ones already!!) & my manager corrected me saying, "You mean you WANTED a white blazer?" It actually made me think... but I still ended up buying it.
*If you think that was the right thing to do, you're a situation shopper*
I think I got my point across with these scenarios right? If you or anyone you know had the symptoms above, welcome to the group! No i'm kidding.. it's bad. Stop spending all your money!

Glamorous!
It's been a while I know I know but I just got so caught up with work and other things! But I promise I got lots coming up! This one was totally random though, didn't plan it out before but it turned out to be a pretty awesome look! This look is more on the intense side, I know all the looks i have done so far were pretty wearable. So I wanted to change that up a bit and this is something I would totally wear to a party, going out at night, cute dress on, heels, got my hair did and ready for some fun!
This is the look done on my beautiful model! If you wanna know how to get this look, keeeeep reaaading! lolz
Let's get started!
So, first things first, start off with a clean face and apply your eye primer to prevent the colors from creasing.
Now, as a base, I applied my Maybelline Color Tattoo in 15 Audacious Asphalt all over the lid. Quickly just blend out the color only from your crease because it's harder to blend this product after it sets. Which in most cases is a good thing, its a strong base for your other eye shadows.
Next I took my matte black eye shadow from the Body Shop smokey eye quad and applied that all over my lid. Right on top of that base color we applier earlier.
Take a clean fluffy brush and blend out the harsh edges under the crease. Pull some black toward the outer corner and make sure the inner corner is left clean.
Now take this matte purple and apply that in the crease and take it a little above the crease as well. Now, BLEND. I cannot stress enough about this but do not be afraid to blend your colors because you can always add more but we do not want any harsh lines.
At his point, you can add more color if you like.
Now i'm taking this VERY pretty, warm toned purple by Body Shop's Nature's Minerals collection in Vivid Amethyst and apply that to my outer corner and pull it towards the crease. Also apply this under your eye, only about half way in.
Now, before blending the last step, take a brown with red undertones and verryy lightly apply that right above the crease with a fluffy brush, and with the same brush blend the color with the purple shades.
Taking a light shimmery purple eye shadow, apply that to the inner corner that we left empty and also apply that under your eye from the inner corner to halfway blending it with the purple we have in the other half.
Now take a frosty white eye shadow and apply that to the brow bone! Make sure you blend it with the brown we applied earlier.
Apply your favorite eyeliner, I make it thicker towards the outside just because I wanted to, so that can be your own personal preference!
Now add some mascara and our look is complete!
For the rest of the face after applying foundation, I applied the Shimmer Waves in the color Bronze from the Body shop once again right below the cheekbone. If it helps suck in your cheeks to find the hollows of your cheeks.
Next, I applied my MAC blush in Peachy keen to the apples of the cheek.
For the lips I applied my Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in the color Blush. This has to be one of my all time favorites.
A big thanks to my beautiful best friend for helping me with this!
I hope you guys liked it, like always, I would love to hear your thoughts about it, or any other comments and suggestions are always great!

Evening / Night Look!
Alright so I finally got myself together to do this look. It's a really nice look for going out to dinner date, parties or just a night out with the girls! So i'll stop talking now and I hope you guys like it! Lets get into it :)
Start off with a clean face, prime your eyes. To begin with I added a wash of a matte white color with a fluffy brush.
Start off with a clean face, prime your eyes. To begin with I added a wash of a matte white color with a fluffy brush.
Now, take a bright coral color and apply that all over your lid. I know it sounds a bit crazy right now but I promise it's gonna look great at the end.
See how I kept the color just on the lid. Also, the lighting made the color look a lighter than it is, so don't be afraid to pack the color on.
Next, take a matte light brown shade to blend the coral shade. Place it in the outer corner of the eye and blend in towards the crease and a bit above in a winds wiper motion. Go only about mid way of the eye.
Keep moving the brush back and forth until the two colors blend nicely, looking something like this.
Now take the blackest black you have, preferably a matte black. Start from the outer corner of your eye again and blend the color towards the middle of the eye and also blend it in the crease. Making sure the color is the darkest at the outer corner.
Blend, blend, blend and it should look something like this! Add more black if you blend it out too much.
Now take a shimmery blue color, something like in the picture. It doesn't have to be exact, just a bit dark and shimmery will be good.
Take the blue and apply that only to the lid, start from the middle of the eye and work your way out. At this point, go back to the coral and add more if necessary. Now blend it out so it perfectly blends with the coral. Add a little more black on top of the blue at the outer corner, and very lightly blend that out as well.
Take a shimmery bronze color, and apply that on top of the light brown color we applied earlier.
(Sorry about the blurry picture!)
Blend the two together for a gradient effect. It should look like the bronze is peeking through the light brown.
Almost done! Now take a frosty white shade and apply that to the inner corners and also on your brow bone.
Lastly, apply your favorite liner and mascara and you're done!
Final Look!
I hope you guys try this look out and let me know how you like it!

DIY Green Tea / Honey scrub !
Okay so this is my first DIY (Do it yourself) & I would love to do more if you guys want me to! Alright so today's DIY is a scrub, and this is one of my all time favorites. Green tea... I hope you all know how amazing it is for your health, well guess what, it's as amazing for your skin. & honey? You should be eating at least 1 tablespoon everyday, but I know I don't like to so I wont make you either. But I found a way for it to do wonders for my skin without me having to eating it! (even thought it doesn't taste bad at all and you SHOULD eat it!).
I do prefer this over my purchased scrubs so you can imagine how much I love this! I usually do this once a month to give my skin a break from all the harsh chemicals that go on our skin everyday. If you can put your pants on by yourself, you can do this aswell haha! So let's get started!
Ingredients !
Preparing the mixture!
1. Boil about half a cup of water for the green tea.
2. As you're waiting for the water to boil, put your tea bag in the cup or if you're using tea leaves, put about a tablespoon of those into the cup.

Ingredients !
- Boiling water
- Green tea (leaves or tea bags both work well)
- White sugar
- Honey
- lemon (optional)
Preparing the mixture!
1. Boil about half a cup of water for the green tea.
2. As you're waiting for the water to boil, put your tea bag in the cup or if you're using tea leaves, put about a tablespoon of those into the cup.
3. Then take your boiling water, add it into the cup, making sure it's only about 1/3 of the cup.
4. Mix the tea bag/leaves with the water and put the cup aside, until the tea is luke warm.
5. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar into a bowl.
6. Take your tea, it should be warm at this point so it doesn't melt the sugar, add about 2 tablespoons of the tea into the bowl. The tea should just absorb the sugar, if the consistency is still too think, add half a tablespoon more of the tea into the bowl.
7. Mix the ingredients together and it should look something like this so far.
8. Now, add one more tablespoon of sugar into the bowl and mix that well together.
9. Okay, almost done! Take one table spoon of honey and mix it well with all the other ingredients!
10. Now this step is optional, but you can squeeze some lemon into the mixture. Lemon helps cleanse your skin!
And this is how the final thing should look!
How To Apply!
Now that we have the scrub ready, make sure you keep the green tea that was left in the cup!
Take a cotton pad, get some of the mixture on it and gently massage your face, going in circular motions.
After doing that for about a minute, take the scrub into your hands and massage it gently on your face for 2 more minutes. Next, just rinse your face with luke warm water and before drying your face take the green tea that was left, dip a cotton pad in it and rub that all over your face. The green tea works as a toner for your skin! Plus its not sticky so you can pat dry your face & voila!
I REALLY hope you guys try this out, it works wonders! Let me know if you guys try it out, I would love to hear what you guys think!
